3D CAD Designer Needed for Trade Show Booth Rendering
Overview: We are seeking a talented 3D designer to develop a detailed 3D model or rendering of our trade show booth for this year's event. The booth will be themed "Midway/Carnival" and will measure 10 feet by 30 feet. We will provide eight floor plan concepts—each scaled with the convention that 1 inch equals 1 foot—to serve as the basis for your modeling work. Previous Year’s Booth: • Last year’s theme was “Casino.” • The booth measured 10 ft x 20 ft and was laid out using a floor plan created in PowerPoint (1 inch = 1 foot scale). • The diagram controlled both the structural setup and the intended flow of attendee traffic through the booth. Reference photos from last year’s final booth setup are below: This Year’s Booth Requirements: • Theme: Midway/Carnival • Booth Size: 10 ft x 30 ft • We will provide 8 scaled floor plans (1 inch = 1 foot) • The task is to translate these 2D layouts here into a visually engaging and dimensionally accurate 3D model or rendering. • Attendees will enter the booth on the bottom of the floor plan. • Reference images of the arcade-style machines and booth elements are provided below to guide visual accuracy: Item Dimensions for Modeling: • Skeeball Machine: 3 ft (W) x 10 ft (L) • Basketball Machine: 3 ft (W) x 8 ft (L) • Dart Area: 2 ft x 2 ft board area; 6 ft x 8 ft clearance in front for players • Popcorn Machine: Positioned on a 6 ft table; machine footprint is 30 in x 6 ft • Lightbox Displays (Back of Booth): -Lightbox 1: 3 ft (W) x 8 ft (H) x 1.25 ft (D) -Lightbox 2: 4 ft (W) x 8 ft (H) x 1.25 ft (D) -Lightbox 3: 3 ft (W) x 8 ft (H) x 1.25 ft (D) • Blue Square Chairs: 20 in x 20 in • Small Bookshelf: 1 ft x 1 ft • Round Tables (Over Chairs): 21.7 in diameter • Carpets: Varying dimensions depending on the layout (clearly labeled on plans) • Velvet Ropes with Stanchions: 4.5 ft (L) x 1 ft (W) Deliverables: • A 3D rendering (or multiple views) of the booth based on the provided floor plan concepts • Accurate scale and placement of booth elements as listed • Ability to visualize and interpret traffic flow, design theme, and aesthetic requirements • Willingness to make multiple revisions as needed to ensure the final model aligns with our vision and event needs We’re looking for someone with experience in 3D modeling for event or trade show environments who can help bring this immersive carnival-themed booth concept to life.
