Digital Marketing Contractor for Pre-Launch GTM Support (Social, Email, Paid, Influencers)

We're a mission-driven startup preparing to launch a gamified mobile app for kids (ages 5–10) that builds essential social-emotional and life skills—like emotion regulation, friendship-making, and resilience—through play. The app is backed by child development research and designed to be both parent-friendly and deeply engaging for kids. We’re launching our first product in September 2025 and are looking for a highly organized, proactive marketing contractor to help us execute our GTM plan across multiple channels. This is a part-time, project-based role from June–October 2025 (approx. 10-20 hours/week to start, likely will increase starting in July), with potential to extend depending on post-launch needs. What You'll Do: You’ll work closely with the founder (who’s leading strategy) to bring key marketing activities to life. Your responsibilities will include: Email Marketing - Set up and manage our email capture flows (waitlist sign-up, welcome sequence) - Build and deploy nurture email series - Use Mailchimp or similar to segment lists, schedule sends, and monitor performance Social Media & Influencer Coordination - Schedule and post content on Instagram and TikTok - Assist in executing influencer campaigns (e.g., track deliverables, share CTAs, follow up) - Organize and maintain content calendar and asset tracker Paid Ads & Channel Testing - Launch and monitor paid Meta and TikTok ads using pre-approved creative - Help track performance across channels (CTR, CAC, conversions) and summarize learnings - Support light optimization (e.g., budget shifts, minor copy edits) Content & PR - Coordinate distribution of teaser content and FAQs - Draft and send press outreach emails (with founder’s support) - Maintain a media/influencer tracker General Coordination - Organize deliverables for launch campaigns (email, ads, social, press) - Upload content into tools like Mailchimp, Canva, Buffer, or Meta Ads Manager - Support reporting (weekly metrics dashboards, email open rates, paid results) Who You Are: - 3+ years experience in marketing execution (email, paid ads, social, influencer, etc.) - Comfortable with startup scrappiness—you get things done with minimal oversight - Detail-oriented, organized, and great at working from a clear brief - Familiar with tools like Mailchimp, Meta Ads Manager, Google Sheets, Buffer/Later, and Canva - Excellent written communication skills Bonus: experience marketing to parents or working with family-focused products Nice to Have (but Not Required): - Experience launching consumer tech or mobile apps - Copywriting or community management experience - Familiarity with performance tracking and attribution tools Timeline & Scope: - Start: Early to mid-June 2025 - End: Post-launch in October (with potential to extend) - Hours: ~10–20 hours/week to start, likely will increase starting in July - Rate: Open to hourly or fixed-fee proposals To Apply, please include: - Your resume, featuring your relevant experience (or a note on relevant experience) - Examples of marketing campaigns or tasks you’ve executed - Your availability in June–October - Your preferred rate
