Description: We’re looking for an experienced grant researcher to help us uncover local, state, federal, and private non-dilutive funding opportunities that align with our mission at Bizi—an EdTech startup reimagining how schools motivate students and promote financial literacy. Bizi is a for-profit, woman-led EdTech company helping schools simplify their PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) programs and build real-world financial skills. We’ve built a gamified digital banking platform where students earn “BiziBucks” for positive behavior, attendance, and academic effort—and use them to track, budget, and shop for rewards. It’s an automated, tech-forward upgrade to the old paper dollar or point system—built to be high-impact for students and low-lift for educators. We’re growing fast and want to make sure we’re not leaving money on the table. What we’re looking for: -A skilled grant researcher with a strong track record identifying non-dilutive funding for for-profit companies (bonus if it’s in education, youth development, edtech, or social impact). -Someone who can uncover and compile relevant opportunities—federal, state (we’re Florida-based), local, and foundation grants. -Ideally, you’re confident evaluating eligibility criteria and summarizing opportunities in a clean, easy-to-follow tracker. -Bonus if you can help us prioritize which grants to pursue and flag key timelines or partners. What we need: -A research deliverable listing 15–25 relevant grants (with descriptions, deadlines, fit, amount, eligibility, and notes). -Insights into categories like: education innovation, SEL, financial literacy, youth entrepreneurship, tech for good, and women-led ventures. -A quick turnaround (ideally within 2 weeks). This is a contract project with potential for ongoing support if it’s a strong fit. If you’ve got a sharp eye for funding and love helping early-stage orgs grow, we’d love to hear from you. Please include a short note sharing your relevant experience and a sample of past work (if available).
