Job Posting: Career Coach for Recent Art Graduate We are seeking an experienced career coach or counselor to work one-on-one with our daughter, a recent graduate with a BA in Art, to help her successfully transition into the professional world. Responsibilities: Review and update her current résumé to best reflect her education, skills, and interests Create a professional LinkedIn profile Provide guidance on identifying career paths suited to her background and interests Teach effective job search strategies and help her find appropriate job opportunities Assist with the application process, including tailoring cover letters and résumés for each position Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback Offer general encouragement and accountability through the job-seeking process Qualifications: Proven experience in career coaching, especially with recent college graduates or liberal arts majors Familiarity with art-related careers as well as broader opportunities for creative professionals Strong knowledge of current hiring practices, résumé trends, and LinkedIn optimization Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and support young adults Schedule and Duration: Flexible hours, ideally meeting 1–2 times per week. This is a short-term contract expected to last 6–8 weeks, with potential for extension based on progress and need. Location: Remote (Zoom/Google Meet) or in-person if local to [Your City/Area].
