Full stack developer for a manufacturing MVP
This will be a bit vague intentionally at this point. I need to find skills before I make the strategy publicly known. Description: We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer or development team to help us build a professional, user-friendly web and mobile app platform tailored for the manufacturing industry. This B2B marketplace will connect sellers of specialized manufacturing goods with buyers across the country. Project Overview: - Sellers will have their own customizable store pages where they can list specific product types (defined by us), upload product data, certifications, photos, and shipping details—within structured guidelines. - Buyers will access a centralized product catalog to search, filter, and purchase from any seller regardless of location. - Transactions will be processed on the platform: - Seller gets paid. - Freight gets paid (either calculated at checkout or added as a fixed rate). - Platform collects a service fee from each transaction. Key Features Needed: - Seller dashboard (inventory, order management, analytics) - Buyer interface (search, filters, spec-based selection) - Secure checkout with split payments - Storefronts with seller branding - Admin panel for product category control, fee management, and dispute resolution - Freight API integration (FedEx, UPS, etc.) - Notifications & messaging between buyers and sellers - Scalable database structure - Responsive web design and/or iOS/Android app Ideal Candidate: - Strong experience in building B2B marketplaces or eCommerce platforms - Proficiency in modern tech stacks (e.g., React, Node.js, Django, Firebase, or others) - Experience with payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, etc.) and logistics integration - Understanding of manufacturing or supply chain platforms is a plus - Ability to provide UX/UI suggestions and optimize for functionality and speed Deliverables: - Wireframes and/or clickable prototype - Full website or web app MVP - Documentation for handoff and scaling Budget & Timeline: - Open to fixed price or hourly, depending on proposal - Timeline to be discussed, aiming for MVP within 8–12 weeks To Apply: Please include: - Relevant examples of marketplace projects you’ve built - Overview of your tech stack preference - Estimated budget for MVP - Any questions or suggestions you have for improving this platform
