What is your current level of experience in freelance work?
We need to update our VPAT to WCAG 2.1 AA, it has been some time. Specifically... Level AA: Addresses the most common accessibility issues and is often the legal standard. WCAG 2.1 added specific criteria to support mobile accessibility, cognitive and learning disabilities, and low-vision accessibility: - Orientation (1.3.4): Content should not restrict display orientation (portrait or landscape) unless necessary. - Identify Input Purpose (1.3.5): Make form inputs identifiable for user settings or autocomplete purposes. - Reflow (1.4.10): Content should be accessible without horizontal scrolling on small screens, like mobile devices. - Non-Text Contrast (1.4.11): Maintain contrast for non-text elements (like buttons) to improve visibility. - Text Spacing (1.4.12): Ensure readability with customizable text spacing without content loss. Content on Hover or Focus (1.4.13): Provide accessible controls for dismissing or interacting with content that appears on hover or focus. - Pointer Gestures (2.5.1): Avoid complex gestures like multi-finger swipes; single-point activation (tap or click) should be enough for interaction. - Pointer Cancellation (2.5.2): Allow users to cancel touch input easily, preventing accidental actions. - Label in Name (2.5.3): Ensure visible labels match programmatic labels for better accessibility. - Motion Actuation (2.5.4): Provide alternative means for triggering actions that typically rely on device motion. --- We can provide our old VPAT to WCAG 2.0 Standards, but before we get started we'll want a ballpark estimate on the number of hours this will take to complete. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you.
