Windows Desktop Engineer (Contract) This is a consulting role responsible for the successful completion of customer projects to deliver Windows Virtual Desktops on Dizzion’s DaaS platform. You will be assigned to paid customer engagements and work closely with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) and Solutions Architect (SA) in coordination with the customer to accurately meet agreed upon deliverables within scope and withing a promised timeline. A successful team member in this position should possess working level knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems. Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) or Cloud delivered desktops such as Microsoft AHV is a plus. Training will be provided for Dizzion’s DaaS technology stack. Job Responsibilities include: • Participate in kickoff calls internally and externally with customers to prepare and understand the scope of project deliverables. • Meet frequently with customers to achieve milestones throughout project timeline, • Provide onboarding support for customer administrators during go-live period. • Identify and escalate issues with the platform. • Create and customize Windows Template images to operate within the customer’s infrastructure. • Assist customer with installation of 3rd-party software, specifically guiding them how to prepare applications and services for customization during a clone from template. • Configuring Authentication services such as SAML2 and guiding customer in creation of RBAC rules. Desired Technical Skills: • Architectural understanding of Public Cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, Azure, etc) and/or Nutanix AHV. • Knowledge of Windows Desktop customization (SysPrep, AppX, Domain Join) • Networking (physical & SDN) • Knowledge of RBAC and SAML configuration within Frame • Knowledge of Application Configuration for non-persistent DaaS deployments. • Knowledge of endpoint security such as Crowdstrike or Bitdefender is a plus • User profile management such as FS-Logix
