Content Marketer & Sales Collateral Creator | B2B Logistics + SEO + LinkedIn

Job Description: We are a growing logistics and freight services firm looking for a content and marketing freelancer to help us drive qualified website traffic, improve our LinkedIn presence, and — most urgently — develop simple, compelling sales materials we can use to win new business. If you understand B2B buyers, know how to write with clarity and credibility, and can design polished but simple marketing pieces (like one-pagers or service overviews), we want to talk to you. Top Priorities for This Role: Create branded sales collateral such as one-pagers, firm overviews, or capability statements for use in bids, proposals, and cold outreach. Write and design materials that clearly explain who we are, what we offer, and why we’re different — with minimal fluff. Ongoing Marketing Support We Need: Drive Website Traffic: Create SEO-friendly blog content (2–4/month) tailored to decision-makers in freight, logistics, and industrial services. Review and improve existing site copy for clarity, conversion, and search performance. Develop case studies and landing pages that support lead gen. Enhance LinkedIn Presence: Refresh the company LinkedIn page and the founder’s personal profile for credibility and positioning. Create a simple content plan (1–2 posts/week) to maintain a consistent, relevant presence. Ideal Freelancer: Strong B2B content writing skills, with samples of sales collateral and web/LinkedIn copy. Experience writing for logistics, freight, supply chain, or industrial services a big plus. Can think like a buyer: what they want to know, what builds trust, what helps them take the next step. Familiarity with SEO basics and tools (Surfer, SEMrush, etc.) is helpful. Bonus: Light graphic design ability (even using Canva or similar) to produce clean, client-ready PDFs. Nice to Have (Not Required): Experience coordinating with designers, web devs, or ad vendors. Strategic marketing mindset or fractional CMO experience — we’re open to growing this role for the right person. To Apply: Please share: A short summary of your B2B content and collateral experience. 2–3 samples — ideally a one-pager, capability sheet, or other marketing asset + blog or web content. Your availability and hourly or project-based rate. (Optional) Let us know if you’ve worked in logistics or a similar field — that’s a plus but not a must. About Us: We’re a logistics company based in Pennsylvania, combining asset-based delivery (white glove, air freight, final-mile) with freight brokerage services. We're scaling fast, and we need practical, well-crafted content to support growth — not fluff. If you know how to make content that works in the real world, we’ll value your expertise. Suggested Screening Questions: Can you share a sample of a sales one-pager or capability sheet you created for a B2B company? What was your approach? Describe a time when your content directly helped generate leads or win new business. What did you create, and what was the outcome? What tools or processes do you use for SEO keyword research and content planning? Have you ever worked in logistics, supply chain, or a related B2B services field? If not, how do you approach writing for industries you’re unfamiliar with? How do you ensure a company’s tone and voice come through in sales collateral or website content? If hired, how would you prioritize our three main content goals: website traffic, sales collateral, and LinkedIn presence? Bonus: Do you have any light graphic design capabilities (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express)? Can you provide samples?
