We’re looking for an experienced Wordpress Website Migration Specialist to help us transfer websites between hosting platforms seamlessly, securely, and without downtime. The ideal candidate has experience working with a variety of providers including GoDaddy, WP Engine, Bluehost, SiteGround, HostGator, and others. This is a project-based role with potential for ongoing work. Attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong understanding of DNS, file structure, and database handling is essential. Responsibilities: -Migrate WordPress websites from one host to another (e.g., GoDaddy → WP Engine) -Handle domain transfers and DNS updates when necessary -Ensure no data loss, broken links, or plugin issues during migration -Perform site backups before and after each migration -Troubleshoot and resolve any post-migration issues -Communicate clearly and professionally with our internal team or clients if necessary -Maintain proper security and privacy standards throughout the process -Troubleshoot and fix server issues or email deliverability issues Requirements: -Proven experience with WordPress website migrations -Strong knowledge of cPanel, FTP, phpMyAdmin, and DNS settings -Familiarity with popular hosts including GoDaddy, WP Engine, Bluehost, SiteGround, etc. -Ability to work independently and meet deadlines -Excellent troubleshooting skills -Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with staging environments and multisite setups -Understanding of SSL certificate installations and renewals -Familiarity with CDN setup (e.g., Cloudflare)
