US-Based (PST/MST) Bar/Restaurant Bookkeeper with QuickBooks Online - Remote Part-Time
Job Description: We're seeking an exceptional US-based bookkeeper (preferably in PST or MST time zones) to join our team as a remote part-time contractor. The primary focus will be on accounts payable and managing our existing Philippines-based bookkeeping team. Key Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable processes and reconciliation Oversee and coordinate with our two existing Philippines-based bookkeeping contractors Handle financial reporting for our bar operations Approximately 5-10 hours per week (subject to change based on needs) Submit detailed timesheets for all work performed Required Qualifications: US-based (preferably PST or MST time zones) 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping Thorough knowledge and understanding of GAAP Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient skills in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Self-starter/Quick Learner Preferred Experience: Experience with hospitality, bar, or restaurant accounting Experience managing other bookkeepers/contractors Familiarity with Toast POS & Payroll, Craftable, and xtraChef Contract Details: 100% remote position Part-time contractor position (hourly rate) Budget: Starting at $500/month Initial 3-month contract with potential for increased hours and compensation based on performance Strict timesheet accountability required About Us: We're an established bar in Phoenix with a vintage theme and regular community events.
