Small-Scale Freelance IT/Tech Support for Nonprofit--Must be in Boise, Idaho
Who I am: I am the newly-hired executive director of an educational nonprofit. I live in the Boise, Idaho area, and I plan to manage the nonprofit from here--but I will need some IT support. Two of our staff will live and work remotely here in Boise, and I would prefer an IT freelance partner working also lives and works in the Boise area. I'd like to hire this person on an as-needed basis. What I need: --An IT partner who can help me set up the best way to optimize Microsoft Office Suite and my Macs. What are the best email systems, calendaring systems (right now I can't get any of my three calendar systems to sync with each other), tips and tricks for optimizing these, and any other "hidden mysteries" that will make my work easier and more productive. This might look like a one-on-one training session or a series of short sessions. --An IT partner who can help me prepare for about 2-3 very large meetings and webinars each year (up to a couple of hundred people each time). We use Zoom, and I am comfortable with Zoom in a small-group setting, but need help in executing large meetings and Webinars. I need someone with the calmness and ability to help me ENSURE that these go off without a hitch! --An IT partner who can help me and the other local employee (an administrative assistant) troubleshoot when there is an issue. While some of this support--such as synching calendars--can be planned, other aspects will come up on an "as needed" basis.
