You’ll take full ownership of our systems, working closely with the CEO to modernize infrastructure, enhance integrations, and drive strategic alignment between technology and business objectives. What You’ll Do: Modernize Legacy Systems: Overhaul aging infrastructure (MS SQL, Access) to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability, while preserving critical business logic. Optimize Integrations: Streamline and enhance connectivity with e-commerce platforms like Kalio Commerce, Fulfil.io ERP, Bloomreach (for personalization), Yotpo (reviews), and Kustomer (support), ensuring robust API-driven workflows. Develop Scalable Solutions: Design and implement full-stack applications using Python, Node.js, and React, emphasizing clean code, modularity, and API-first architecture. Lead Cloud Operations: Manage and optimize AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS) and Google Cloud (BigQuery, App Engine) environments, ensuring cost-efficiency and reliability. Coordinate Teams: Guide offshore developers, setting technical standards, reviewing code, and fostering collaboration across time zones. Incorporate AI Strategically: Identify and implement AI-driven tools (e.g., automation, predictive analytics) to boost productivity and deliver measurable business impact. Bridge Business & Tech: Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical plans, delivering clear, data-backed recommendations to leadership. Tech Stack: Languages/Frameworks: Python (FastAPI, Flask), Node.js (Express), React (Redux, Hooks) Databases & Cloud: MS SQL, AWS (Lambda, S3, ECS), Google Cloud (BigQuery, App Engine, Cloud Functions) Platforms & Tools: Kalio Commerce, Fulfil.io ERP, Bloomreach, Yotpo, Kustomer, Git, CI/CD pipelines Requirements: 8+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development and system architecture Deep expertise in e-commerce ecosystems, API integrations, and cloud-based solutions Track record of modernizing legacy systems while minimizing disruption Ability to distill complex business needs into practical, results-oriented technical strategies Excellent communication skills for direct collaboration with the CEO and cross-functional teams Comfortable working US business hours (EST) with flexibility for occasional off-hours coordination
