Interactive Red Hat Enterprise Linux Kickstart Installation Expert Needed
We are seeking an experienced developer to create an interactive kickstart installation process for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This installation must efficiently deploy to a variety of devices, including servers and desktops. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Red Hat environment and experience in automating Linux installations across multiple platforms. Your expertise will help streamline our deployment process and enhance our operational efficiency. Specific tasks: 1) Use RHEL 8.10 2) Apple the DISA STIG with GUI for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 security policy (comes with the ISO) a) This includes making additions to the kickstart for the various partitions that need to be created. /home, /tmp, /var, /var/log, /var/log/audit, /var/tmp and /boot 3) An interactive menu to specificy the LVM volume size of each partition at the time of install. An example would be a Dell PowerEdge server with a 14TB RAID array and the installer asks how big each partition needs to me. The same would apply for an Intel NUC with a 4TB NVME drive 4) An interactive menu to enter in the IP, netmask, gateway, hostname and DNS at the time of install
