Senior WordPress Developer Needed for Ongoing Projects
We're seeking an experienced WordPress developer for a long-term collaboration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress development, particularly with high-traffic and enterprise-level sites. WordPress VIP experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and optimize custom WordPress themes and plugins - Implement responsive, cross-browser compatible designs - Troubleshoot and resolve complex WordPress issues - Ensure website security, performance optimization, and scalability - Collaborate with design and content teams to implement new features - Provide recommendations for technical improvements and best practices Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience - Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 - Experience with WordPress theme development and the WordPress core - Familiarity with WordPress VIP platform and its coding standards - Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility - Version control experience (Git preferred) - Experience with performance optimization techniques - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications - WordPress VIP certification or direct experience with WordPress VIP projects - Experience with headless WordPress implementations - Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) - Experience with WP-CLI and deployment workflows - Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) - Experience with e-commerce solutions (WooCommerce) Project Details - Long-term engagement with consistent workload - Regular communication and progress updates required - Opportunity to grow with our company and take on additional responsibilities
