Full Stack and Mobile Developer (React/Node/Postgres)
We are looking for an experienced full stack developer who uses open source languages/tools as follows: React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, Prisma, and Postgress DB. We use the Jest testing framework and GitHub for code repository. We are working within a client's development environment, which requires us to establish dependencies to standard packages and tools. For example, the client uses netlify for hosting, which is mostly a black box to us. However, they do require us to comply with code analysis from SonarQube and BlackDuck. Jenkins is used for building, which can also kick out issues needing to be resolved. The general design of the application is frontend web application that makes API calls on the backend application. There is one process that uses sockets to communicate state changes between the frontend and backend. Requirements are managed on a Trello board. We use an Agile software development process, which leans towards Kanban. Viable candidates must be U.S.-based, available to work during traditional business hours in the 4 US continental time zones, and work remotely up to 30 hours per week. Viable candidates MUST perform all work themselves. No agencies. No ghost developers working behind the scenes. You must be able to attend regular scrums, status meetings, and troubleshooting calls with your camera on as necessary. While your technical skills are important, we are also interested in your ability to communicate, problem solve, socialize, and actively contribute to the team and to the project. We would like to fill this position in the 1-2 weeks.
