Reddit & Online Reputation Expert Needed for Strategic Project (Consultation Job)
Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Reddit and Online Reputation Management (ORM) expert to guide our internal team on an important project involving strategic content placement, reputation enhancement, and community engagement across key platforms—particularly Reddit. This is a consulting and hands-on role. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Reddit’s ecosystem, moderation dynamics, and best practices for maintaining credibility and visibility in both organic and promoted content. Experience with other platforms like Quora, Hacker News, and relevant forums is a plus. Responsibilities: Advise our team on effective Reddit strategy, including subreddit selection, post timing, account management, and engagement techniques Develop and implement strategies for improving and managing our online reputation Identify opportunities for organic visibility, reputation recovery (if needed), and community trust-building Analyze Reddit activity to monitor sentiment, flag risks, and recommend adjustments Work collaboratively with our internal content and marketing teams to ensure alignment (Optional) Assist with post drafting, comment seeding, or stealth engagement if needed Requirements: Proven experience managing Reddit presence for brands or high-stakes campaigns Solid understanding of Reddit etiquette, rules, moderator expectations, and shadowbanning risks Demonstrable success with online reputation management (ORM), crisis control, and sentiment monitoring Ability to provide case studies or references of similar work Clear communicator who can educate and support internal teams (Preferred) Knowledge of Reddit Ads and paid promotion strategies
