Credentialer for Locum Healthcare Staffing Firm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialer to supplement our Credentialing team. This position will be the liaison between our provider and client facility, ensuring all facility requirements are met while providing guidance and assistance to the provider. The ideal candidate has credentialing experience in a Locum staffing company, strong problem solving skills, and enjoys a fast paced environment. Responsibilities: Credentialing: Obtain and maintain a full understanding of each facilities’ requirements, expectations, and timelines Collect and verify documentation for providers and deliver to facility contact in a timely manner Assist providers through their credentialing and application process from start to finish Assist with the hospital’s credentialing process by following up with outside facilities, references, and malpractice companies as applicable Data Management: Maintain accurate notes of each provider’s progress Provide follow-ups on a consistent and timely basis Track deadlines and timeframes for each provider based on each facility’s requirements to ensure credentialing is completed within the expected timeline Track privilege date ranges for providers on assignment and assure re-credentialing and reappointments are completed Compliance and Quality Assurance: Verify provider’s licenses, board certification, and other pertinent information Perform background checks and drug screenings Ensure provider’s certifications comply with hospital requirements Qualifications: 2+ years of credentialing experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset. Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges in a dynamic startup environment.
