StackAdapt Programmatic Ads Strategist (Fractional)

The Role: We’re seeking a Fractional StackAdapt Programmatic Ads Strategist to manage and scale performance campaigns across display, native, video, and CTV. You’ll work closely with our lifecycle marketing and creative teams to integrate acquisition efforts into broader omnichannel journeys. This is a contractor role, estimated at 5–10 hours/week, ideal for a media strategist who thrives on optimization, attribution clarity, and platform efficiency. ⚠️ All fractional contractors at Forge are required to complete work within our core systems: - ClickUp for task and project management - Slack for real-time team communication and status updates Failure to follow these communication and workflow standards will result in termination of the contract. Key Responsibilities: - Lead campaign builds within StackAdapt across native, display, video, and CTV formats. - Develop acquisition and retargeting funnels aligned with client-specific KPIs (CPA, ROAS, CTR, etc.). - Execute A/B tests for creative, targeting, and placement variables. - Collaborate with internal teams on strategy, copy, and creative briefings. - Provide in-depth weekly campaign analysis and monthly strategic recommendations. - Implement dynamic creative optimization, retargeting sequencing, and lookalike audience strategies. - Build full-funnel audience journeys and report on progression from top-of-funnel prospecting through conversion. - Own data flow and attribution integrity with UTM tagging, pixel QA, and performance mapping into GA4, Shopify, and Klaviyo. Technical & Platform Expertise Required: DSP / Ad Platforms: StackAdapt (Must have current experience); Google Display Network (GDN) and YouTube Ads (working knowledge) Data & Attribution Tools: UTM tagging conventions and URL builders; Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – including event creation, audience building, and attribution modeling; Shopify reporting and integration; Klaviyo campaign and flow data (integration points only). Creative & Optimization Tools: Dynamic Creative Testing (StackAdapt’s DCO engine); Understanding of programmatic creative specs, asset optimization, and storytelling best practices; Proficiency with conversion tracking, pixel setup/debugging tools (Meta Pixel Helper, GA Debugger) Project Management & Communication: ClickUp – task tracking, status updates, time estimates, due dates; Slack – proactive communication, file sharing, feedback loops; GDrive / Docs for collaborative reporting and campaign briefs What We’re Looking For: Personality Traits: - Proactive, autonomous executor who thrives in a remote, asynchronous environment. - Natural collaborator who values precision, communication, and structured workflows. - Strategic thinker who understands how paid media fits into broader business outcomes and lifecycle marketing.
