Mailchimp Email Marketing Specialist Needed
Description: I'm looking for a detail-oriented Email Marketing Assistant who is experienced with Mailchimp (or a similar email marketing platform) to help set up and manage a small music-focused email campaign. this is a short-term job with possible on-going contact. Responsibilities: Format and build Email 1 in Mailchimp (includes adding album art and opt-in functionality) Create and upload the Email 1 contact list of email addresses into Mailchimp Set up a SoundCloud link (to be included in Email 2) – track provided Configure auto-responder sequences for new subscribers Ensure all content aligns with artist branding and visual style Be familiar with platforms like DistroKid and Bandcamp to understand release context Requirements: Proven experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing tools Ability to format and design email templates with images and links (including album art) Understanding of email list segmentation and opt-in best practices Familiarity with music distribution platforms such as DistroKid and Bandcamp Attention to detail, especially regarding formatting, spelling, and mobile optimization Able to meet deadlines and communicate clearly Nice to Have: Experience working with musicians or independent music campaigns Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email formatting tweaks Timeline: This is a short-term project to support an upcoming music release with potential for future work if things go well.
