Job Posting: Entry-Level Attorney for Court Appearances & Limited Written Work Location: Remote (occasional in-person court appearances in California) Compensation: $125.00 per court appearance $25.00–$50.00/hour for written work (“second eyes” document review, brief analysis, research, etc.) About the Opportunity We are seeking a licensed, entry-level attorney to assist with court appearances and occasional written work for a growing litigation-focused practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a new or early-career attorney looking to gain courtroom and motion practice exposure while working under flexible conditions. Responsibilities Make court appearances on behalf of clients (primarily in California courts) Conduct status conferences, CMCs, law and motion hearings as needed Perform “second eyes” reviews of legal briefs, motions, and pleadings Occasionally assist with legal research, citation checking, and document formatting Requirements Active California bar license (or awaiting bar results with strong clerkship or moot court experience) Excellent written and oral communication skills Reliable transportation for local court appearances (remote appearances may be possible depending on court) Detail-oriented and able to provide constructive feedback on work product Bonus: Bar admission in other U.S. jurisdictions Ideal Candidate Law school graduate or newly licensed attorney seeking part-time, freelance, or contract work Strong interest in litigation and civil procedure Reliable, professional, and communicative To Apply Please send your resume, bar admission status, and a short note of interest!
