Healthcare Consultant Needed to Set Service Rates for Home Care Startup
Job Description: I’m the founder of a newly launched non-medical home care agency based in Arizona, and I’m seeking an experienced healthcare or home care consultant to help develop a competitive and compliant rate sheet for the services we offer. Responsibilities: Research and recommend market-competitive rates for private pay, VA, and long-term care clients. Provide rate structuring for services such as personal care, companion care, respite, and transportation. Advise on rates in alignment with local Medicaid (ALTCS), VA reimbursement, and private pay benchmarks. Create a clear, easy-to-understand service rate sheet for use in our system (CareSmartz) and intake process. Requirements: Experience in home care, healthcare consulting, or medical billing. Familiarity with Arizona Medicaid/ALTCS and VA billing (preferred). Proven ability to structure service-based pricing. Strong communication and documentation skills. Budget: Fixed Project Budget: $300 USD (Timeline: 2–4 weeks) We’re launching in July and are working within a tight budget, but we’re open to discussing deliverables based on expertise.
