Flutter Developer for Story Feature in Social Fitness App
We’re looking for an experienced Flutter developer to help implement a Story feature in our fast-growing social fitness app, similar to what users are familiar with in leading social media platforms. The API is ready, and initial Flutter groundwork is in place. We need someone to take it from partial to polished with strong attention to user experience and performance. What You’ll Work On: - Build out the full UI/UX for story viewing and navigation - Handle image/video playback with smooth transitions and gesture controls - Implement features like auto-advance, swipe navigation, pause on hold, and progress indicators - Display story avatars, user circles, and highlight active stories - Optimize memory and performance, especially for media content - Seamlessly integrate with our existing app architecture Requirements: - Proven experience building story-style features in Flutter (please include links, GIFs, or screenshots) - Strong skills in animations, gesture handling, and multimedia - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and structured JSON data - Solid grasp of Flutter best practices and modular architecture - Strong communicator, proactive, and detail-oriented Bonus Points: - Experience in social or fitness apps - Familiarity with Bloc, Provider, or similar state management - Experience with image/video caching strategies Please apply with: - A short note about your relevant experience - Real examples of similar work you’ve done (required)
