Virtual Meeting Support
We are a national non-profit organization. We transitioned several of our national meetings to virtual in Dec 2020. We have a strong network and active eager participants/volunteers, all of whom are members of our organization. We are effectively using zoom, and we are using our custom website (already beautifully designed for events) to post great video content after the virtual conferences (hosted in Vimeo). We need someone who is very familiar with Zoom conferencing, hosting best practices and opportunities we do not yet know for taking the next step to include live/interactive components of our events for several hundred to a thousand participants. This person will replace someone who has been working as a consultant in this role for 5 years, and be offered opportunities to discuss transition with them. This person will report to the COO and support volunteer event leaders of various levels of experience. Our goals will include but not be limited to: ~Supporting the development of programming for 2-4 large virtual conferences (~1000) each year as well as several smaller virtual meetings with at home viewers. ~Communicating with professionalism, grace, and a supportive, inclusive nature when engaged with GCA volunteers ~Running the actual virtual conferences from the Zoom platform, including rehearsals and post event debriefs.
