Clone a Point of Sale Software for Restaurant
We are seeking a skilled developer to clone an existing point of sale software application currently in use at our restaurant. The project requires both front-end and back-end development to ensure seamless functionality. The ideal candidate should have experience with POS systems and be able to replicate features while maintaining or improving usability. Clear communication and understanding of restaurant operations will be a plus. The software we are currently using is called Aptito POS and is a restaurant POS system. It is a bit outdated, and the company is retiring it, yet I'm willing to put up the cash to keep using the system. We have a through training system that has integrated Aptito, and since the application will be retiring, I'm looking to replicate it EXACTLY as it is. We will need the front end and back end exactly as the current software is, with the exact same features, reports, and UI. Eventually, we will be wanting to program this as a software as a service to sell it to other restaurants in our area. The features that Aptito uses that we will need are: Front End: - Ordering screen - Inventory Updates - Cloud integration with online and offline usability - Android or iOS - Clock-in/clock-out for employees for time tracking Back end: - API available to integrate with future systems - Restaurant layout (map) with Table Placements - Inventory Management - Recipes for each menu item and modifier for Inventory Management and Costing - Manager Profiles for Discounts, modifiers, and inventory management - Shift schedules with sales for each employee, payroll included - Multiple printers for Bar, Kitchen, and billing areas. - And all the reports shown in the attachments As well as all the other features it currently has. https://v2.aptito.com/ Finally, we will need to connect this to a local government tax authority and can help walk through the API for this process.
