Vectorworks Draftsperson for Creative Production Studio
Role and Responsibilities: Modeling and layout of show concepts/elements from the groundplan into 3D representations for the purpose of conveying design intent and form/scale to the client, vendors and stakeholders Creating and maintaining the detailed 2D documentation Drafting of site plans, build diagrams, signal sheets, and other required layouts/details 2D/3D drafting of individual scenic elements for fabrication On camera remote meetings and the client and internal and external collaborators Qualifications: Minimum of 2-3 years of live event, entertainment, theater, touring concert and/or production experience in drafting Strong drafting skills. All drafting will be done in Vectorworks Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both verbal & written Work with larger producer and production teams as well as client and vendors Ensure that all work conforms to pre-established specifications & standards Demonstrate a sense of urgency & act responsively Work independently as well as within a team environment Supremely organized, detail-oriented, and thorough Comfortable working across multiple time zones for meetings/calls (most team members in North America) Changes in scope or project terms may alter the job outline above
