Advanced CAD Modeler Needed for Product Design
Dynamic 3D is seeking an experienced Contract CAD Engineer with a strong background in reverse engineering and product development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Geomagic Design X and SolidWorks, and highly skilled at working with complex 3D scan data across multiple industries including sporting goods, motorsports, aerospace, and firearms/defense. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and process 3D scan data to create fully parametric CAD models Develop accurate, manufacturable parts using Geomagic Design X and SolidWorks Collaborate with internal engineers to meet exacting design and dimensional requirements Deliver projects on tight timelines with high accuracy and reliability Support ongoing product development and reverse engineering initiatives Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in CAD modeling and product design Advanced knowledge of Geomagic Design X and SolidWorks Proven ability to work with complex scan data and deliver high-quality results Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Must be able to meet deadlines and provide quick turnarounds as needed Experience in any or all of the following industries: sporting goods, motorsports, aerospace, defense/firearms Willingness to sign an NDA and maintain confidentiality of proprietary projects Additional Info: This is a contract position with potential for long-term work Compensation based on experience and project scope Remote work acceptable with reliable communication and project updates
