Product Growth Specialist for Fintech Startup (Africa-Focused)
The Company A payment orchestration and aggregation platform helping global and African merchants process payments across multiple African countries. We support mobile money, bank transfers, cards, and cryptocurrency — with a special focus on intra-African B2B payments and Africa–Asia MSME trade corridors. Project Overview: We are looking for a freelance product growth specialist to execute and manage our growth strategy across SEO, website optimization, content marketing, analytics, and social media. The work is based on a pre-developed campaign board and will focus on achieving measurable organic growth, brand visibility, and lead generation. Task: Manage execution of the SEO strategy (on-page, content, link building) Oversee website performance improvements (speed, UX, conversions) Coordinate content production (with AI tools or freelance writers) Run and optimize LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram campaigns Deploy analytics (Google Analytics 4, Hotjar) and track KPIs Integrate and leverage AI tools for content, outreach, and chatbot workflows Support marketing automation and A/B testing Requirements: 3+ years experience in product or growth marketing (preferably fintech or SaaS) Proven success running SEO and social campaigns with measurable results Familiarity with payment, crypto, or cross-border commerce platforms is a big plus Experience using AI tools (Jasper, SurferSEO, ChatGPT, AdCreative, etc.) Solid understanding of African digital markets and B2B buyer personas Comfortable managing and delivering within Notion, Trello, or Airtable environments Project Duration & Rate: Estimated Duration: 12 weeks (with option to extend quarterly) Weekly Commitment: 15–20 hours Proposal Outline Please include in your proposal: A short intro with past experience relevant to fintech, SaaS, or growth roles Links to growth campaigns, SEO results, or content you’ve managed Tools and platforms you’re most comfortable using Availability and time zone
