Microsoft Teams Voice Consultant – RingCentral to Teams Migration (Contract)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Voice Consultant to lead the migration of our business phone system from RingCentral to Microsoft Teams Voice. This project involves planning, configuring, and implementing Microsoft Teams Phone with Calling Plans or Direct Routing, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to our team and clients. Responsibilities: • Assess current RingCentral setup and call flow (users, call queues, auto-attendants, routing rules). • Design and implement a Microsoft Teams Phone solution, including: o Teams Phone System configuration o Number porting or provisioning o Auto-attendants and call queues o Voicemail, call groups, and routing logic • Provide guidance on licensing (e.g., Teams Phone, Calling Plans, Direct Routing options). • Set up SMS functionality • Develop a rollout plan and training materials for internal staff. • Provide documentation and post-migration support. Requirements: • Proven experience migrating organizations from RingCentral (or similar systems) to Microsoft Teams Voice. • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Teams Voice architecture (Calling Plans, Direct Routing, Operator Connect). • Experience with number porting, auto-attendants, call flows, and user provisioning in Teams. • Familiarity with SMS integration options in Teams (native or third-party). • Strong communication skills and ability to lead projects independently. • Microsoft certifications related to Teams Voice or Unified Communications are a plus.
