Virtual Technical Producer (Contractor – U.S. Based
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Virtual Technical Producer to manage and support the virtual and technical aspects of our hybrid training workshops. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth technical execution during live sessions with both in-person and remote participants. You will work closely with the lead facilitator to create an engaging and seamless experience for all attendees. Key Responsibilities: Set up and manage the Zoom platform for a three-day hybrid workshop Facilitate participation for remote attendees joining from three different locations Manage breakout rooms, including assigning participants and monitoring sessions Admit participants into the Zoom meeting and breakout rooms as needed Share PowerPoint presentations, videos, and other visual aids during sessions Operate and manage Zoom’s whiteboard feature and chat functions Zoom in and out (camera controls) to enhance participant engagement Troubleshoot technical issues promptly and professionally during sessions Collaborate with the in-room facilitator to synchronize virtual and live experiences Conduct pre-event tech checks and run-throughs with facilitators or speakers Participate in pre-planning meetings and post-event debrief sessions Maintain a calm, polished, and professional demeanor under pressure Requirements: Proven experience managing Zoom for virtual and hybrid events Advanced knowledge of Zoom tools including breakout rooms, screen sharing, and whiteboard Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Professional appearance and communication style Must be based in the United States Availability to attend pre-planning meetings and a post-event debrief Ability to commit to a 3-day engagement with potential for ongoing project work Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable internet connection and personal tech setup suitable for hosting virtual events Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting professional development, corporate training, or educational workshops
