Video editor needed for podcast clips and shorts
What we need We’re seeking a skilled and adaptable Video Editor to help us create engaging short-form videos for our social media channels. This role may expand to include longer-form projects, but the primary focus is on editing, and crafting captivating clips from our podcast and event footage for platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram. You will work closely with our in-house Video Editor and Content Marketing Manager to ensure our content is both high-quality and on-brand. ↓ Who we are Vestd is the UK's favourite sharetech platform. We make sharing equity a piece of cake for private businesses. ↓ Target audience Our products and services appeal to: • Business owners/founders of early-stage startups, SMEs and enterprises. • Aspiring entrepreneurs in university groups, accelerators and incubators. • Stakeholders such as angels, VCs and investors. • Chief operators like directors, CFOs, FDs, COOs, and CEOs. • HR teams and recruiters. • Accountants and lawyers. ↓ Requirements • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in video editing. • Proficiency in Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software. • Strong attention to detail. • An eye for identifying and highlighting engaging content. • UK-based. • Fluent in English. • Comfortable using Slack. ↓ Bonus points: • Experience with After Effects or other motion graphics tools. • Familiarity with share schemes, private equity, and investment. • Prior B2B experience, ideally within SaaS, FinTech, Startups, Venture Capital, or Tech.
