Description: We are developing a commercial-grade freeze stat device for the HVAC industry and are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to collaborate with our Mechanical Design Engineer. The product is based on vapor-filled capillary sensing and uses microswitch-based relay control to trigger outputs when the sensed temperature falls below the setpoint. You’ll be responsible for the electrical system layout, switch logic validation, and BOM recommendations, with an emphasis on meeting UL, BAA/BABA, and pilot duty requirements. Your Role Includes: Selecting/validating the appropriate microswitch or DPDT relay block Ensuring electrical compliance with UL 873, pilot duty ratings, and 24V AC/DC applications Designing the electrical wiring layout (internal connection to terminal block) Verifying compatibility with mechanical enclosure constraints and mounting Advising on terminal block layout, switching current/voltage specs, and inspection points Supporting labeling for UL/certification compliance Must-Have Skills: Electrical Engineering (HVAC, relay logic, microswitches, 24V AC/DC systems) Understanding of 2xSPDT, DPDT, and 4-wire, 2-circuit switching types Familiarity with UL standards for HVAC controls (esp.
