As our Analytical Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the product's success by ensuring operational excellence, maintaining data quality, and leveraging the power of analytics to inform strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and client teams to drive the successful implementation of Tambo Compass clients and specification of new features, ensuring they meet client needs and deliver tangible value. Proactively monitor product performance and data integrity through rigorous analysis and testing, identifying potential issues and ensuring a high-quality user experience. Leverage data analytics to identify key trends, user behaviors, and opportunities within the e-commerce landscape, providing data-driven insights that directly inform product strategy and align with overarching business objectives. Develop and present clear, concise performance reports and dashboards to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations. Partner with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs, generating insightful reports and proactive recommendations for product enhancements that drive business growth. Contribute to the integration and application of AI-powered analytical tools within Tambo Compass, exploring new ways to enhance data-driven decision-making and provide cutting-edge insights. Maintain the smooth operation of our analytics tools and platforms, troubleshooting issues and ensuring data accessibility for the team. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative data analysis principles and methodologies. - Proven practical experience working directly within an e-commerce business, understanding key metrics, customer behavior, and online sales processes. - Expert proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel is essential, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data validation, charting, and statistical formulas. - Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence and experience in directly interacting with clients to understand their needs and present findings. - A strong intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in exploring and applying AI-driven solutions to enhance product analytics and decision-making. - Strong foundation in mathematical and statistical concepts, with practical experience in applying data analysis techniques (e.g., descriptive statistics, trend analysis). - A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn Python for data analysis, with support from our development team and AI resources. Desirable Skills & Qualifications: - Basic scripting skills for data manipulation or automation (e.g., in Python, Java/Typescript, or R). - Direct experience working with e-commerce marketplaces, particularly Amazon, and a strong understanding of marketplace analytics tools and metrics. - Advanced understanding and practical application of statistical modeling techniques such as outlier detection, regression analysis, and forecasting to derive deeper insights.
