Creative Executive Assistant / Project Manager for Documentary & Startup Projects

Job Description: I’m a creative entrepreneur and producer working on several fast-moving projects—documentaries, media initiatives, and a new company launch—and I need a smart, reliable, proactive right-hand assistant to help me manage it all. This is not a typical assistant role. You’ll wear many hats: helping with logistics, research, communications, production coordination, and startup support. You must be someone who takes initiative, solves problems independently, and follows through without hand-holding. Tasks may include: Setting up forms, automations, and emails in Constant Contact Writing and distributing press releases Finding and coordinating a film crew for a documentary shoot Researching and applying for grants Reaching out to interview subjects, managing scheduling Coordinating with film crew and interviewees to lock dates Sourcing a colorist or other post-production talent Helping assemble an advisory board and managing outreach Liaising with a web designer to communicate updates Setting up services like an 800 number and managing vendors (e.g. virtual office) Who You Are: Super organized, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented A great writer with professional communication skills A self-starter who figures things out and gets it done Experienced in managing multiple moving parts and tight deadlines Familiar with creative/film/media/startup environments (bonus!)
