Cisco ASA to Meraki MX85 Migration Support + AnyConnect VPN Setup
We're looking for an experienced network engineer to assist with the final stages of a firewall migration from a Cisco ASA 5515 to a Meraki MX85. The initial migration has been mostly completed, but we’d like an expert to review the configuration, validate the setup, and help implement AnyConnect VPN using certificate-based authentication. Scope of Work: • Review current MX85 firewall and security settings (routing, NAT, policies). • Compare with existing ASA configuration to ensure nothing critical was missed. • Assist in configuring AnyConnect VPN on the MX85 with certificate-based authentication. • Provide light documentation of the final configuration. • Advise on best practices for a secure and reliable setup. Requirements: • Proven experience with both Cisco ASA and Meraki MX series. • Expertise in setting up AnyConnect VPN with certificate authentication. • Familiarity with small-to-medium business network environments. • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly. • Bonus: Experience supporting nonprofit organizations. Project Notes: We’ve already migrated basic network functions to the MX85. This job is more about cleanup, verification, and the VPN piece. We anticipate this being a short project, but we’re open to ongoing support if things go well.
