Shopify Expert Needed: E-Commerce Store Setup + Multilingual Marketing Strategy
Description: I’m looking for a highly skilled Shopify expert to help launch an online store for a physical product. This is a contractor position ideally suited for someone with deep experience in Shopify development, e-commerce marketing, and multilingual store management. This is not just a technical setup role — I need someone who also understands how to sell. You should be able to design and build a high-converting Shopify store and develop a launch and marketing plan to drive traffic and sales, especially in multiple languages/regions. Responsibilities include: Full Shopify store setup (theme customization, product pages, payment/shipping settings, etc.) Integrate tools/apps to support international sales (e.g., language selectors, region-specific pricing) Create or recommend a sales-driven homepage and product page layout Set up product collections, SEO, and product descriptions Implement multilingual support (automatic or manual translations) Collaborate on or create initial marketing campaigns (email, paid ads, content strategy) Guide on best practices for conversion rate optimization, upsells, and cart abandonment recovery Optional: Assist with branding elements (logos, visual identity, etc.) Must-Have Qualifications: Proven experience building and scaling Shopify stores Deep understanding of e-commerce marketing and product positioning Experience with Shopify’s multilingual and international selling tools Strong design sense and familiarity with modern e-commerce UI/UX Ability to work independently and provide strategic input Excellent communication skills Bonus Skills (not required but preferred): Experience with Shopify Markets or other localization tools Knowledge of Google Ads/Facebook Ads for product sales Graphic design capabilities or experience working with designers Email marketing and funnel setup (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp) Project Scope: This is a freelance/contract role, with potential for future ongoing work Initial scope is to build and launch the store, with optional follow-on marketing collaboration Timeline: Looking to launch within [insert timeframe – e.g., 4–6 weeks] If you're passionate about building beautiful stores that convert, and you understand how to sell products globally, I’d love to hear from you.
