About Us Publishing Push is a leading publishing services company helping authors bring their books to life. From editing and design to bookshop marketing, our mission is to make publishing simple, professional, and accessible. We’re growing quickly and are now looking for an experienced Sales Closer to join our team on a part-time basis. If you’re great at connecting with people, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward a confident buying decision—this could be the perfect fit. Role Overview You’ll be the final step in our sales process—handling warm inbound leads, conducting discovery calls, and closing deals. You’ll work closely with our sales assistant (who handles quotes, follow-ups, and booking calls) and report directly to the founder. Responsibilities Conduct discovery/sales calls with warm inbound leads (no cold calling) Understand clients’ goals and recommend the right publishing package Overcome objections, answer questions, and build confidence Close deals and hand over to the project management team Track follow-ups and keep CRM (Pipedrive) up to date Work with the assistant and founder to refine the sales process Requirements Proven experience closing deals in a consultative sales role (ideally services) Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence on Zoom/phone and in objection handling Organised, reliable, and proactive Experience with authors, publishing, or creative industries is a bonus What You’ll Get Warm, qualified leads—no cold outreach required A flexible, remote role with room to grow A small, friendly, high-performing team The chance to help authors achieve their dream of publishing a book
