Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to build a clean, single-product checkout page on WordPress that MUST contain the following integrations: • Stripe payments, including: o Apple Pay (Must work on iOS/Safari) o Google Pay o PayPal Express o Traditional Card Payments • Amazon Multichannel Fulfilment Integration • Confirmation Email • Dispatch Email • Delivery Confirmation Email • Review Request Email This checkout page will serve as a workaround to the Apple Pay restrictions imposed by platforms like Wix, Shopify and Squarespace (due to alcohol sales), by self-hosting a Stripe checkout outside the main site environment. Scope of Work: • Develop a simple, mobile-optimised checkout page in WordPress — minimalist design, inspired by Stripe's default checkout layout. • Integrate with our existing Stripe account. • Enable express payment options: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal Express. • Enable traditional card payments including Amex. • Configure automatic order forwarding to client’s Amazon UK Fulfilment account (FBA). • Host on subdomain (e.g., shop.marginlondon.com) using existing domain hosting. • Deliver embeddable HTML for a ‘Buy Now’ button with quantity selector, to be added to the current Wix site (replacing existing ‘Buy Now’ button). What We’re Looking For: • Experience with Stripe, WooCommerce, or headless eCommerce setups. • Knowledge of Apple Pay domain verification and Stripe payment button configuration. • Familiarity with Amazon FBA integrations (e.g. using plugin, API, or fulfilment webhooks). • Ability to deliver clean HTML code for embedding external buttons in Wix. Additional Context: We are aware that Apple Pay is disabled on most major website builders when alcohol is sold even when it is permitted under Apple’s UK AUP. However, our research suggests that a self-hosted Stripe checkout does allow full Apple Pay functionality if correctly implemented and the domain is verified with Stripe/Apple.
