Electrical Take Off Specialist Needed
Position: Electrical Estimator Location: Central Texas Company: Texas LED Lighting Co Texas LED Lighting Co is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. In this key role, you will play a critical part in shaping the success of our commercial and industrial projects—particularly in the telecommunications and infrastructure sectors. You’ll be responsible for preparing competitive bids, analyzing project documentation, and collaborating with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate cost projections and smooth project execution. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications to produce detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects. Prepare comprehensive and professional bid proposals for submission, including drafting RFIs to clarify project details. Conduct post-bid follow-ups to negotiate scope, pricing, and value engineering opportunities with clients. Coordinate with multiple vendors to obtain competitive pricing and material quotes. Collaborate with the construction team and company leadership throughout the project lifecycle to align expectations and ensure accuracy. Track and manage change orders and adjustments in project scope effectively. Maintain organized documentation for all bids and actively manage several estimates and projects simultaneously. Attend client meetings across Central Texas and operate independently with minimal supervision.
