(California only) Structural engineer to perform onsite evaluations in SF Bay Area
Overview: SF Bay Engineering is seeking experienced and licensed engineer near the San Francisco Bay Area to perform onsite structural evaluations for our clients. The engineer will be engaged as 1099 contractor and paid at a mutually agreed fee per job site. Key Responsibilities: - Perform onsite structural evaluations at client's properties. - Issue stamped engineering letters or reports as needed after the site visits. - Communicate with clients via phone / email to address follow-up questions (if any) after the site visits. - Notify project managers about the intended structural scope of work and suggested pricing for projects requiring engineering plans after the site visits. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in structural engineering. - PE or SE license in California. - Reside in SF Bay Area. - Fluent or native-level proficiency in verbal and written English. - Highly independent, responsible and communicative.
