Full-Stack Web Developer & SEO Specialist
We are seeking a talented and versatile Full-Stack Web Developer & SEO Specialist to join our team. This role requires a hands-on professional who can design, develop, and maintain websites, implement SEO best practices, manage hosting environments, and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. You will be responsible for building and optimising our agency website as well as client projects, ensuring high performance, excellent user experience, and strong search engine visibility. Responsibilities: • Develop, customise, and maintain WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, E-commerce websites with clean, responsive, and SEO-friendly code. • Design website layouts and graphics aligned with UX/UI best practices using tools like Adobe XD or Figma. • Implement technical SEO strategies including on-page optimisation, schema markup, site speed improvements, and crawlability enhancements. • Manage web hosting setup and administration (cPanel, DNS, SSL certificates, backups, security). • Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems across devices and browsers. • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align SEO and design goals. • Monitor website analytics and SEO performance, recommending improvements. • Stay updated with the latest web development technologies and SEO trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), PHP, and MySQL. • Extensive experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization. • Proven knowledge of technical SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, schema markup). • Experience managing web hosting environments (cPanel, FTP, DNS, SSL setup). • Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Photoshop. • Ability to debug and fix code issues efficiently using browser developer tools and debugging techniques. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently. • Portfolio demonstrating previous website development, SEO implementations, and hosting management. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with page builders like Elementor or Beaver Builder. • Knowledge of server-side technologies (Node.js, REST APIs) is a plus. • Familiarity with website security best practices and performance optimization tools. • Experience working with remote teams and project management tools (ClickUp, Slack, Trello). Project Scope & Duration: • Initial focus on building and optimising our website. • Ongoing work on client website projects, SEO tasks, and hosting management. • Long-term collaboration potential based on performance.
