Full-Stack Developer for Gold Retail E-Commerce Platform
I am seeking a skilled and reliable full-stack developer (or development team) to build the web and mobile platform for my new startup, Orentra — a UK-based e-commerce business selling physical gold bars imported from Dubai. This is not an investment or crypto app. Orentra is a retail-focused, FCA-exempt platform that will allow UK customers to buy gold online, choose between delivery or secure vault storage, and track their holdings digitally. Project Scope: Phase 1: Web Platform (MVP) • Modern, premium UI for landing and shop pages • Product catalog (e.g. 1g, 5g, 10g gold bars) • Real-time pricing (gold spot price API + markup) • Secure checkout (Stripe, Checkout.com, or similar) • Customer dashboard: order tracking, PDF certificates • Admin panel for inventory and order management Phase 2: Mobile App (iOS + Android) • Replicate core web features in mobile format • Integration with user accounts and backend • Publish to app stores ⸻ Key Integrations Required: • Stripe or Checkout.com (secure payment gateway) • Courier tracking (e.g. Royal Mail, UPS) • Gold price API (e.g. Metals-API) • Optional KYC/ID verification (e.g. Sumsub or Onfido) ⸻ Ideal Skills & Experience: • Full-stack development (React, Vue, or Angular + Node.js/Laravel/Django) • Mobile development (React Native or Flutter preferred) • Experience building secure e-commerce platforms • Knowledge of PCI-DSS and GDPR compliance • UI/UX skills with a premium, clean design sensibility • Familiarity with integrating APIs (payment, logistics, data) ⸻ Deliverables: • Fully functional web platform (frontend + backend + admin panel) • Cross-platform mobile app (iOS + Android) • Testing & basic user documentation • Launch support and optional ongoing maintenance (negotiable) ⸻ Timeline: • MVP launch in 2 weeks • Mobile rollout shortly after web launch ⸻ To Apply: Please include: • Examples of similar e-commerce platforms or mobile apps you’ve built • Your proposed tech stack • Estimated timeline and cost • Any questions you may have about the project ⸻ I look forward to working with someone who is detail-oriented, communicates clearly, and can help me bring Orentra to life.
