We are seeking a skilled and experienced grant writer to help secure funding for several of Humanities Foundation’s most impactful community programs. For over 30 years, Humanities Foundation has been a leader in affordable housing development across the Southeast, with a mission that extends beyond housing to include direct support services that promote stability, wellness, and opportunity for residents. Humanities Foundation is proud to be CORES certified (Certified Organization for Resident Engagement & Services), a national designation recognizing organizations that provide robust, high-quality resident services coordination in affordable housing communities. This certification underscores our commitment to delivering outcome-driven, person-centered programming that helps residents thrive. This role will support grant writing for programs such as: - ShelterNet, which provides emergency rental and utility assistance to prevent homelessness - Marketplace, a food access initiative that has delivered over 10 million meals since 2014 - Young Leaders, a youth development initiative offering tutoring, mentorship, and summer enrichment - WISE (Wellness Initiative for Senior Empowerment), which supports seniors aging in place through wellness services, health screenings, and social connection The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of writing successful grant proposals for nonprofit organizations and a deep understanding of funding streams related to housing stability, human services, youth programming, and senior wellness. Familiarity with foundation, government (e.g., CDBG, ESG, United Way), and corporate funders is strongly preferred. We’re looking for someone who can craft compelling narratives, identify aligned opportunities, and manage submission and reporting timelines with minimal oversight.
