Basic Website Design for Sound Engineering Business
I’m looking for a basic design and website for my freelance sound engineering and live event production business. The site should effectively showcase my services, portfolio, and contact information to attract potential clients. The project will include spec’ing out colors, fonts, a very basic logo if needed, gathering needed assets, and implementing the site using some kind of editable template or CMS. I can set up the hosting, infrastructure and domain name. A challenge will be getting good photos in the beginning so we might need to start with placeholders. I can provide copy as needed. I’m using the color Orange to mark my equipment and would like to continue this through the branding. So Orange plus black / grey / white. I'd like the aesthetic to be a blend of technical and artistic. Company Overview: I am a freelance sound engineer specializing in live mixing, system design, tuning and training, and I offer my services and a complete PA and lighting system package for live musical and corporate events. Primary Audience: I cater to local bands, small to medium-sized venues like clubs, theaters, and community centers, and also service corporate events, and private-parties. Goals: I want to describe what I can offer, provide (photo, anecdotal) evidence that I can provide a quality service, and provide contact options. As a stretch goal I’d like to differentiate my service, possibly through the branding, tagline, testimonials, or something about the service I offer. Pages/Scope: Home page / Services / Testimonials / Contact Us About Us / Available Gear and Capabilities / FAQs Gallery (No ecommerce needed) Qualifications: You must be able to do both the graphic design and also implement the website in some kind of editable framework such as WordPress, a template like X by Themeco, or a CMS.
