Website Manager & SEO Specialist for Small Charitable Trust

We are the Karen Toffler Charitable Trust, a nimble, mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to funding bold, early-stage neurological research. Our website is the public face of our work—showcasing grant opportunities, success stories, impact reports, and upcoming initiatives. We’re seeking a reliable, detail-oriented freelancer to help keep our site fresh, drive organic traffic, and produce clear monthly analytics. Scope of Work This is a part-time, month-to-month engagement with an average of 5 hours per week. Occasional “surges” (15–20 hours/week) may occur around campaign launches, reporting deadlines, or special events. Content Management -Update text, images, event listings, and blog posts in our CMS (WordPress). -Support content development as need to strength website engagement -Ensure all publications, press releases, podcast and grant announcements are published accurately and promptly. -Make recommendations of changes that should be made on website to increase engagement. SEO Optimization -Perform keyword research and implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, alt text). -Optimize site speed, internal linking, and mobile responsiveness. -Monitor rankings and recommend improvements to increase organic traffic. Reporting & Analytics -Generate a concise monthly dashboard (Google Analytics/Search Console) covering traffic trends, user behavior, and SEO performance. -Highlight top-performing content and opportunities for growth. Social Media Graphics (Optional but Highly Valued) -Design simple, on-brand graphics for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter posts announcing new grants, events, or impact highlights. -Deliver source files (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) sized for each platform.
