Google Chrome Extension Development and Management
We are looking for a developer to make and manage a Chrome extension. The extension will be analytics focussed and will perform many functions, but will primarily involve inspecting network traffic, extracting information from the traffic, and collating and displaying this information in the devtools panel. It's likely that we will build on this extension over time, adding features and functionality. So you should view this as a longer term engagement. We like to use an iterative process so we will start with an MVP and make additions and amends over time. A comprehensive brief will be proivded to you, and you will be supported with regular communication. For this reason, proficiency in English is crucial and non-English speakers will not be considered, sorry. We do not give full briefs in proposal stage due to spammers who harass us if we provide too much information. However, we are an established company in Australia and it's likely that this job will lead to an ongoing relationship. You must be able to demonstrate that you have built Chrome extensions in the past and we will expect you to provide examples of work you have done previously. This is not a job for juniors and we are looking for someone experienced. If you are not able to provide proof of work done previously, you will not be considered, sorry. Analytics focussed coding/development such as Tag Manager scripting, API request coding and management, SQL/DBT and other analytics-based development would be a huge bonus.
