Detailed Shop Drawings - Rebar
Description: We are a mid-sized construction firm specializing in concrete and general construction projects, with an in-house rebar fabrication and installation division. We are seeking an experienced rebar detailer to produce accurate and detailed shop drawings for our projects. Responsibilities: Interpret structural and architectural drawings to create detailed rebar shop drawings. Generate bar bending schedules (BBS) and material lists. Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Coordinate with our fabrication and installation teams to address any discrepancies or questions. Revise drawings as needed based on feedback from engineers or site conditions. Requirements: Proven experience in rebar detailing for construction projects. Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, RebarCAD, aSa). Strong understanding of rebar placement, splicing, and anchorage requirements. Ability to produce clear, accurate, and detailed drawings. Excellent communication skills for coordination with our team. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with U.S. construction codes and standards. Experience working with fabrication and installation teams.
