Customer Service Professional Needed for Animal Protection Nonprofit
Lady Freethinker seeks a customer service professional to communicate with members of the LFT community, including supporters and members of the general public. Expected time commitment is approximately 2 hours/day, Monday through Friday, preferably between the hours of 9 and 11 AM PST. Must be comfortable representing a vegan organization with a strong animal-protection stance, dealing with sometimes-difficult topics involving severe cruelty. Nonprofit or animal welfare experience highly preferred. Tasks include responding to all communications from donors or supporters, including using tools such as DialPad (telephone portal) and Front (email portal) to verbally communicate as appropriate and handling high volumes of email inquiries efficiently and professionally. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, know how to communicate well with the public, pay close attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to animal welfare. For the right candidate, this position is expected to be ongoing.
