We're looking for a talented team (or individual freelancers) to produce compelling automated videos about 20th and 21st century tyrants and dictators for social networks, including YouTube. The project combines cinematic storytelling, historical rigour and powerful visuals to engage a wide audience. We need a videographer/editor, scriptwriter, voiceover and miniature designer for YouTube. Responsibilities : - Videographer/Monitor: Create automated videos based on a supplied script, following an engaging narrative structure (hook, origins, rise to power, reign and politics, fall or legacy, thought-provoking). Integrate archive images, graphics or animations. - Scriptwriter: Write captivating, historically accurate scripts adapted to a short, engaging video format. - Voiceover: Provide professional, clear and emotionally appropriate narration to match the historical and dramatic tone of the content. - Thumbnail Designer: Create eye-catching, YouTube-optimised thumbnails that attract clicks while reflecting the historical theme. Requirements: - Videographer/Monitor: Experience in creating automated historical or educational videos (portfolio required). Proficiency in editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and video automation (Descript, Runway, etc.). - Scriptwriter: Skills in historical research and narrative writing for short videos (portfolio or examples of scripts required). - Voiceover: Professional voice, with samples demonstrating a tone suitable for historical or educational content. - Thumbnail Designer: Experience in graphic design for YouTube, with examples of striking thumbnails (portfolio required). - Ability to collaborate, meet deadlines and incorporate editorial feedback. - Understanding of the importance of visual storytelling and historical accuracy.
