Contract Job Posting: RFP Writer Are you an experienced RFP writer with a talent for crafting compelling, persuasive proposals? We’re seeking a detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional to join our team on a contract basis. You’ll play a key role in helping us win new business by developing high-quality responses to Marketing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) across various industries. Responsibilities: Analyze RFP documents to understand client requirements, project scope, and evaluation criteria. Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather technical and business information. Write, edit, and format clear, persuasive, and compliant proposal responses, including executive summaries, technical sections, and supporting documents. Ensure proposals align with company branding, tone, and win themes. Manage proposal timelines, coordinate input from multiple contributors, and track progress to meet strict deadlines. Review and revise content for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with RFP guidelines. Maintain and update the proposal content library for future use. Contribute to strategy sessions, kick-off meetings, and post-submission reviews as needed. Qualifications: Proven experience writing and managing RFP responses, preferably in business, government, or nonprofit sectors. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Strong project management and organizational abilities; able to juggle multiple proposals simultaneously. Ability to synthesize complex technical information and present it clearly and persuasively. Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working with diverse teams and subject matter experts. Familiarity with proposal automation tools and content management systems is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
