Flutter Developer Needed for Cross-Platform Crisis Management Mobile App (iOS/Android)
Job Description: We are in the early stages of building a cross-platform mobile app (Android/iOS) focused on crisis management and emergency preparedness. The app will help individuals and families prepare for and respond to emergencies with smart tools, real-time updates, and AI-driven resources. We are looking for a skilled Flutter developer to join us on this journey and assist with the initial development. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for future work as the project scales. Key Features to Build: Emergency Alerts/Notifications: “I need help,” “I am safe,” and “Check-in” alerts with live status sharing to emergency contacts. Live Status Dashboard: See your own safety status and the real-time statuses of your emergency contacts/family. Evacuation Routes & Rally Points: Map integration for setting/viewing routes and rally locations with live location sharing. Go Bags & Supplies Tracker: Manage and monitor emergency kit contents per family member. Crisis Training Hub: AI-assisted training modules and quizzes to help users prepare and respond effectively. Family Hub: Centralized dashboard to monitor the safety and location of all family members in one place. Ideal Candidate: Strong experience with Flutter and deploying apps on both iOS and Android Experience integrating real-time location services, notifications, and Firebase (or similar backend) Comfortable with modular development and can collaborate on a product that will grow in phases Proficient in UI/UX and responsive design Bonus: Experience working with AI APIs, quiz engines, or safety-related applications Project Scope & Budget: This is an MVP / Phase 1 of the app, focused on building the core features and getting user feedback. Our budget is $10–$20/hour, as this is a concept-stage project with the potential for expanded development and future funding. We’re looking for a long-term partner, not just a one-time contractor.
